Just about the only species that <i>isn't</i> threatened with extinction is the human race. Whatever happens, there'll aways be someone with the ingenuity, resourcefulness and determination to survive, at some level. What other species manage to survive with us is anyone's guess. Humans are actually those who are ruining the planet, but in their defence I must say that they have been led in that direction by their leaders and the ever present publicity. When the big majority of us come to decide which is the right way to go, then perhaps we'll have chances of fighting off the every day nearer destruction of our environment.
