Belly Dancing

Our local class started again last night and I'm still aching from it.  The moves really work the body.

It's a very feminine and sensuous form of dance which is actually harder than it looks to master but it's well worth sticking out.  Beginners feel like they will never get the hang of it.  Sort of like patting your head and rubbing your tummy at the same time but with more to do besides.  Legs, arms and hips are all moving in the wrong directions at first but it does eventually and often suddenly all come together.

British women can tend to be slightly inhibited about their bodies and belly-dancing brings out their passion and throws out their inhibitions which in turn, builds their self-esteem.

For ladies who want to keep fit, feel good about themselves and have fun, whatever their age and size, it's a perfect activity.
