Try messing with this magnificent beast. Just look at how wonderfully camouflaged he is against that hill. The picture was taken in the Scottish Highlands near Loch Monar.

  1. A magnificent exponent of the “good side” of our Nature. Splendid picture, Earthpal.

  2. Thanks Jose. Yes, the good side of nature . . standing there minding his own business and at risk of being shot by hunters.

  3. Is that your man taking pictures whilst off walking in the mountains again? Scotland is quite a bleak place but strangely beautiful as well. Certainly much easier to get away from that human species. 🙂

  4. Yes, hubby took the picture while he was up there working. I love Scotland. I wish I could get there more often.

Yes, and although I love London, I’d rather travel north than south any day. 🙂

Yes and England-bashing Scots too. They’d better get used to me though because a move to Aberdeen might be on the cards. Gulp!

  8. Aberdeen! Gosh, that’s a long way. Most Scots are very nice and only do the English bashing for (a) a bit of fun, and (b) because they’ve been educated to believe as sorts of rubbish in history. As has everyone else, just different rubbish.

  9. It is a long way, isn’t it. I’ve been looking at maps and things and its way up there.
